Tried to resolve an issue through Surfshark customer service. At first, they replied quickly, but after a few exchanges, they suddenly stopped communicating. I followed up after a couple of days but never received another reply. It's puzzling because it seemed like they wanted to help...until they didn't. Very disappointing.
Quick connect connects to Thailand, the "optimal location" determined by Surfshark, a country which essentially has the same internet access as my country, Burma. I use US servers to access US Netflix library, and I have to choose one of the US servers every time I want to do it. It would be great to be able to choose a favorite location and assign it to Quick Connect, and not the "Optimal Location" set by Surfshark. Thanks.

Awesome application and even better customer support system. Only downside is variable connectivity in certain restricted countries but the team doesn't stop until they solve it for you. Shout out to Harvey for all the great help
I am new to Surfshark and was kind of discouraged at first. But it wasn't because of their services. I just needed some guidance to get it rolling correctly. And I must say that their customer service is awesome. Very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Even though they needed to hold my hand like a small child through some of it lol they stuck with me until they knew I was satisfied and happy with their product. A+ review from me for sure. Arthur was very friendly and tried his hardest to help me. But in the end Aiden swooped in and saved the day and my VPN is now working perfectly on all my devices exactly how I need it to. I highly recommend their service and product.
I have enjoyed using surfshark for almost 3 years. The technical support people are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They have solved each and every one of my technical support issues right away.

Not very good. Lost a couple of stars.
Star 1 - slows down internet connection when connected
Star 2 - Netflix picks up that I am using a vpn, so need to disconnect every time I want to watch Netflix.
Don’t know why I am even giving it 3 stars, as this was the original reason I subscribed. It should lose more stars, as chrome keeps taking me in a loop with the captcha authentication when I am using the vpn
It's user friendly and I especially like the feature where it can block ads. Connecting to SurfShark does not slow down my Wi-Fi speed.
Haven’t used one for a while my down stair computer keeps asking for permission not very good at sorting this out looked on you tube to complicated for me but the one upstairs doesn’t have this problem I mainly use it for free magazines and books for photoshop cooking just learned about Google drive cannot believe I didn’t know about the years I’ve been computing transferring files from torrents to my iPad Pro is unbelievable as I’m 78 and still on a learning coarse thanx :)
I purchased surfshark three days ago. On the first day it worked great. Nice and fast. Very pleased. The very next day the speeds on all servers dropped to less than 1Mbps. I contacted support and chatted for 4 hours to resolve the issue. Every possible option was explored but the speed could not be improved back to what it was on day 1. Had to request a refund. Shame, the one day that it worked, I really liked it.
I was really looking forward to trying this product after watching some great reviews by mrwhosetheboss on YouTube as I'd been looking for a VPN for a while.
I clicked on the link and only entered my name and email address. It then asked for my preferred payment type and I selected Google pay. I then clicked next looking for where to enter the promo code. The box did not pop up and I was asked to set up a password which I did.
I was then told I had subscribed and they charged me a 2 year subscription.
I had not agreed to this, but it's the default option on the main page.
I then had to go on live chat and the girl started off nice but then got pretty short with me. She told me I had signed up for a different offer which I hadn't as this was automatically applied.
I now need to wait 7-10 days for a refund. Although the girl processed this quickly, I feel pretty disappointed.
I was really looking forward to trying this VPN but this sign up experience is probably the worst I've ever encountered and it really soured me against the brand.
I'm pretty good working promos etc, but this seemed quite sneaky as the offer given was more expensive than the one I wanted to sign up for.
I'd say just be careful when signing up so that you don't get skinned like I did.
@Surfshark, if you can fix this and offer me the BOSS promo I'll sign up again, otherwise I'd recommend people to avoid.
I am pleased with Surfshark VPN,there are a few sites I still can't access using the VPN but this is not a great problem.overall a good app.
It's cool on PC but on mobile it's not helpful with my needs
